Our History

A quick look at how we grew from a small shop into a full-service, contract-ready production partner.

2009 – Humble Beginnings in Acworth, GA
We were founded in 2009 in Acworth, Georgia, operating with a single manual press and just three employees.
2011–2012 – Steady Growth
Expanded to three manual presses, three numbering machines, and two automatic presses. Our team grew to 10–15 employees.
2014–2015 – A New Home in Cartersville, GA
We relocated to Cartersville, Georgia, increasing capacity to three manual presses, five numbering machines, and four automatics.
2016 – Embroidery & Expansion
Launched in-house embroidery services. Added four more automatic presses and two manual presses. Our staff grew to around 45 employees.
2018–2019 – Moving Into Our Current Facility
Began transitioning into our current facility in Cartersville, setting the stage for large-scale production and services.
2021–2022 – DTF Services Introduced
Added Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing capabilities with four DTF printers and 25 heat presses.
Today – A Full-Service Production Powerhouse
Our current facility includes:
  • 12 Automatic presses (10 Workhorse, 1 Stryker, 1 Gauntlet)
  • 1 UV DTF printer
  • 3 Manual presses
  • 4 Numbering machines
  • 32 Heat presses
  • 17 DTF printers
  • 16 Embroidery machines (totaling 64 heads)
  • Over 130 employees

At Basic Printing, we make contract decoration simple, clear, and dependable. Here’s how to get started:

Send your PO including style, qty, decoration type, locations, and ship details.
Step 3: Artwork & Approval
Provide print-ready files. Approve the proof before production starts.
Step 4: Ship Blanks
Send garments with packing slip + PO number clearly labeled.
